Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto Set To Form His Own Political Party. Here Are The Details
The number one inside critic of the Jubilee government governor Isaac Rutto is said to be in the process of launching his own political party. Sources privy to this new development in the political circles allege that Rutto reached this decision after 9 nominated URP MCA’s were suspended for working closely with him to undermine the Jubilee government and the Deputy president William Samoei Ruto.
To avoid being caught up in a situation whereby he will not have a political party to seek his re-election in 2017, Rutto has contemplated joining hands with KANU secretary general Nick Salat to forms a political party that will give them a stronger bargaining power in 2017. The two are said to have held talks with former prime minister and CORD flag bearer in 2017 Raila Odinga over what is believed to be the next big political merger ahead of the 2017 elections.
Raila Odinga is also trying his best to see that he woos back the vote rich Rift Valley region which is considered a jubilee stronghold, but thanks to their blunders, Jubilee is fast losing favor from the region. Will Jubilee be a one term government? Only time will tell.
