What Next For The Illegal Liquor Victims? Here Is What They’ll Now Need To Do

In the past few weeks, the nation has witnessed many incidents involving the crackdown of illegal alcohol. In turn, many people, and especially those that are addicted to were affected by the crackdown. Most of the alcoholics used to drink the cheap liquor from dawn till dusk without even thinking twice about the repercussions it would have on their lives. I even learned that it was possible to buy alcohol with as little as fifteen shillings. I now understand why it is quite possible to become an alcoholic in Kenya.
It is unfortunate that many of the alcoholics suffer from withdrawal symptoms, as they cannot be able to obtain their daily supply of alcohol. Am sure you must be thinking that they should immediately stop consuming the alcohol, but this is not true. Health professionals recommend that alcoholics should stop drinking gradually as opposed to stopping immediately. If they immediately stop, they will experience withdrawal symptoms such as seizures, tremors, and anxiety, among others. In case you see an alcoholic experiencing the withdrawal symptoms, you might just be helping them by giving them few shots of liquor.
