Masinde Muliro University Will Never Be Named After Paul Kobia
Nairobi’s controversial businessman Paul Kobia on 30th of Jan tweeted that Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology should be named after him. Trying to justify his suggestion to have the school named after him, Kobia said that we should stop having our learning institutions named after dead people. Reacting to his tweet, most students from the institution sought to know after whom KU and JKUAT universities are named after.
Other students who seem to have been much aggrieved by the tweet told Kobia to live his street life in Nairobi without distracting their ambitions. To quote one of the students, here is what he said; “Kobia is a small person who triumphs in the streets and not in the corridors of education. We urge him to stick to his side.”
Here is Kobia’s controversial tweet about MMUST.
