Narok Leaders Snub Meeting With DP William Ruto
Narok senator Stephen Ole Ntutu and four other MPs (Moitalel Ole Kenta, Johana Ng’eno, Patrick Ntutu and Krei Ole Mein) all from the area are said to have snubbed a meeting with deputy president William Ruto. The leaders allege that the meeting which was aimed at resolving the leadership wrangles in the area was intended at shielding Governor Samuel Tunai from leaving office after being accused of corruption.
It is just last week when the said leaders led the people of Narok in a mass protest against the governor and his leadership. The protest however turned chaotic and one person was shot dead and 6 others injured.
