ODM Rejects Opinion Poll Placing Uhuru Ahead Of Raila
According to the latest opinion polls released earlier today by IPSOS, president Uhuru Kenyatta is still the most favorite presidential candidate in Kenya today. Statistics released by IPSOS shows that if elections were held today, 49% of those who voted in the last general election would still vote for Uhuru Kenyatta while only 29% would vote for Hon. Raila Odinga. If William Ruto was to appear in the presidential elections, only 3% would vote for him while Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Peter Kenneth would each get 1%.
ODM has however rejected the polls terming them as “suspect and misleading” and advised its supporters to ignore them. In their press statement sent to newsrooms, here is what ODM said,
“This latest so-called opinion survey was hurriedly commissioned to divert the public’s attention from a myriad of pressing national problems ranging from run-away insecurity in the country and the entrenched corruption in high places among others,”
