Revealed! Here Is CORD’s 2017 Lineup
Barely a week after former Prime Minister Raila Odinga launched his personal website in preparation for the 2017 elections; details have since emerged on how the former PM plans to form the next government. It is alleged that Raila and other CORD leaders met at a city hotel and discussed on how to counter Jubilee’s dominance in the vote rich Rift Valley.
Various sources insinuate that Bomet governor Isaac Rutto will replace Kalonzo Musyoka as Raila’s running mate. Instead, Kalonzo will be the speaker of the national assembly if CORD succeeds in forming the next government. Moses Wetang’ula and the Kakamega senator Bonnie Khalwale will be the leaders of majority in senate and national assembly respectively.
It must be remembered that Isaac Rutto has been very vocal in rubbishing the formation of JAP, a party that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto intend to use in the 2017 elections. Elsewhere in the political circles, it is alleged that Gideon Moi and other Rift Valley leaders met the deputy president today in his Karen office and agreed to support him and the Jubilee government at large.
